Turner Girl rounded off a good week for Mr Paul Turner when gamely taking the 1m2f fillies contest at Doncaster last Friday afternoon, beating a red-hot favourite in tough circumstances.
This lovely scopey and athletic 5 y-o daughter of Mastercraftsman rarely finishes unplaced and has proved unlucky at times. However tough conditions bought her experience to the fore when she fended off rivals from the front under a positive ride from Hollie Doyle for connections.
Turner Girl is a mare everyone enjoys having around and hopefully it wont be the last we see of her in the winners enclosure this season. Congratulations to connections including groom Jack Aherne and rider Annabel Willis.
